The team of two technicians we sent out to Coober Pedy had a challenging task ahead of them. The survey lasted for one week, with several kilometres of tracks scanned and evaluated for the safety of the film and production crew, as well as their vehicles. The terrain was tough, the weather conditions were harsh, but our team was up for the challenge.
Using state-of-the-art GPR technology, our team was able to scan the subsurface layers of the roads and detect any potential mineshafts or other hidden structures. The data collected was analysed in real-time, allowing us to provide comprehensive reports to our clients and ensure that their production crew would be safe while filming on these roads.

The Coober Pedy region is known for its extreme temperatures, with daytime temperatures regularly exceeding 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). Our technicians had to take extra precautions to protect themselves and their equipment from the heat, including staying hydrated, wearing sun-protective clothing, and taking regular breaks in the shade.
Despite the challenging conditions, our team was able to complete the survey on time and deliver high-quality data to our clients. This was due in no small part to our use of state-of-the-art GPR technology, which allowed us to scan large areas of land quickly and accurately.
